Euro Speed Test Training

We have decided to run a training programme that is specifically aimed at Basi and Iasi students in mind who are at Isia, Istd level (level 3,4).

The training programme has been designed to use your ability of superb piste skiers and take this into the gates.

We understand that not all ski instructors are racers but with our knowledge, philosophy and training programme they will be.

We will not just teach you to ski fast round gates just to pass the Euro speed test, but we will create a training programme for every individual and change you’re skiing for the better within a small amount of time.

Race training with us will also set you up nicely for your technical ski instructor exams as racing will improve every aspect of skiing. The way we will do this is to create feelings, muscle and joint movements you thought were not possible. We may have to go back to basic maneuvers to rebuild you and create a platform and core strength that is strong and secure enough for racing once we have done this we will be constantly increasing your platform and core strength to handle fast powerfully maneuvers at high speed.

Once we have taken you to the next level you will be delighted but hold on it does not stop there! If you look at each level as 1,2,3 etc we will take you to your highest possible level (10 for example) you may only need to be at level 3 to pass the EURO SPEED TEST but we believe in taking you past and beyond to your full potential.

Every afternoon we will participate in dry land training to produce hidden flexibility, reaction timing, coordination and strength training. The exercises, machines and equipment we use are the same a world cup racer would use.

Every evening we will carry out personal and group video analysis from that days training. We believe video analysis is so important for competitors to improve; we need to sometimes actually see ourselves and understand what a trainer is seeing. The methods we use for the video analysis are the same as what all national teams would use.
